Okay, here goes. Basically, every time someone buys some CDs, post what you bought here (as well as what you think, etc). Tonight I bought:
South- With the Tides (Haven't really absorbed it yet, but I like it a lot so far.)
The Who- Live at Leeds (Fuckin' hell yeah. This CD has two discs. One with the nonstop rockitude that you expect, the second an entire live performance of Tommy by the band. Young Man Blues kicks ass.)

they might be giants- severe tire damage (it's live cd and a pretty good at that. great versions of doctor worm, the sun is a mass of incadescent gas and she's an angel)

Kings if Leon- Youth and Young Manhood (It's nice to know that good music still comes from Nashville. Think Southern Rock, with some [old school] punk influences. Mostly it's your typical blues inspired stuff, but I'm not complaining. Good stuff.)
Robert Randolph and the Family Band- Live at the Wetlands (What's the word I'm looking for? Orgasmic? That's probably it. Robert Randolph is the best pedal steel guitar player ever. He's our generation's Hendrix. Buy this now.)

Jeff Buckley- Live at Sin-e (Why'd this numbnut go off and kill himself? He had talent! Loads of it! I've only listened to the first disc so far. But it's really good so far. REALLY good. Plus, it comes with a DVD, which is pretty cool.)
Robert Randolph and the Family Band- Unclassified (Not as good as "Live at the Wetlands." But, still, it's pretty good. Listen to this before "Wetlands," that way it won't be so dissapointing. Most of the songs on here sound like they should have been around 15-20 minutes. I guess Randolph is a master of the jam, but he still has lots to learn about making a studio album. Don't get me wrong, this is better than most of the stuff out there right now, but "Wetlands" is just so much more fun.)

FUCK! ASS!
I went wondering through the streets of Worcester looking for a CD store, but to now avail. I was planning on getting "Room on Fire" by the Strokes, "Everything to Everyone" by Barenaked Ladies, and either something by Ozomatli or something old from the Chili Peppers. But my efforts were foiled.
FUCK! ASS!

Yes... with 3 "o"s because apparently neither "r" nor "c" exist in Massachusetts.

i bought a couple of cds yesterday:
the strokes- room on fire -- a good but not amazing cd. of course i had the expectations of a two year wait weighing down the quality of this cd in my eyes. i am sure it will grow on me.
the soundtrack to 'once more with feeling' -- music from the buffy musical episode. great stuff. the buffy fanatic in my required me to buy this.
oh yeah and i got cunt spelunkers- scared flaccid. funny, funny stuff.
